Two Hands Sophies Garden Shiraz 2012 750ml, Padthaway
Expert Reviews
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 91+ pts - Deep garnet-purple in color the 2012 Sophie's Garden Shiraz gives an earthy, meaty nose of loam, tree bark and peppered salami encasing a core of blackcurrant cordial and dried plums. Full-bodied and voluptuously fruited on the palate, a crisp line of acid juxtaposes the densely packed fruit and firm, grainy tannins to good effect. It finishes with very good persistence. Drink it now to 2022+. - May 2014
Wine Spectator - 90 pts - Polished, sleek and distinctive, with tomato leaf and floral overtones around a core of black cherry and cocoa flavors, finishing with lightly grippy tannins. Drink now through 2020. 300 cases made. -HS, Jun 15 2014
