Two Hands Lily's Garden Shiraz 2007 Imperial 6L, McLaren Vale
Produced by Two Hands Wines, the 2007 Lily's Garden Shiraz is another example of the quality that is sourced from McLaren Vale. This particular vintage has been noted as being big and bold, but time has settled it down. The 2007 Lily's Garden Shiraz can be enjoyed now or has the cellaring potential to last until 2020 plus.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 91 pts - My favorite of the Garden Series is the 2007 Shiraz Lily's Garden from McLaren Vale. Purple-colored, it has an enticing perfume of balsam wood, lavender, incense, pepper, bacon, and blueberry. With excellent grip and balance, this smooth-textured, savory Shiraz will improve over the next 2-3 years and drink well through 2020. - Dec 2009
James Halliday's Wine Companion - 94 pts - Unflinchingly in the biggest is best camp; deeply coloured, with luscious, mouthfilling black fruits and dark chocolate; demands that you share the bottle with three others and order a thick rump steak. Not my style, but well-made. - Date tasted 11 Mar 2009, drink by 2022
Wine Spectator - 93 pts - Ripe and peppery, with a spicy note weaving over the black cherry, dried tomato, licorice and mint flavors that keep pulsing through the long, expressive finish. Best from 2010 through 2017. 3,500 cases made. -HS, Jul 2009
