Expert Reviews

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 94 pts - The 2007 Shiraz Coach House Block from Seppeltsfield Road in Greenock was also aged in 50% new oak for 20 months. The aromatics are slightly reticent but reveal aromas of pain grille, pepper, lavender, incense, game, and blueberry. Ripe, sweetly-fruited, and layered, it will benefit from several more years of cellaring and drink well through 2022. - Dec 2009

Wine Spectator - 93 pts - Distinctly spicy, with exotic nutmeg and fenugreek overtones to the black cherry, licorice and cream flavors. Has an airier texture than most Barossa Shiraz, and the flavors just don't quit. Finishes plush and long. Drink now through 2017. 500 cases made. -HS, Oct 15 2009
