Henschke are a name that we know quite well, but none of the reasons come close to this top of the range Hill of Grace Shiraz. This bottle is extra special because it has been made out of grapes that date back to 145 years ago that make it so special, it is made from 100% Shiraz.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 90 pts - Deep garnet-brick in color, the 1998 Hill of Grace has a medicinal nose of iodine plus warm plums, prunes, licorice and espresso. A bit hard in the mouth, it has crisp acid, medium to firm, chewy and somewhat astringent tannins through the long finish. Mature now, it should keep through 2020+. - Apr 2013
