James Halliday's Wine Companion - 94 Pts -Hand-picked, destemmed but not crushed, cultured yeast, open-fermented, hand-plunged, a short post-ferment maceration, 12 months in French oak. Given the price, Wantirna Estate considers this to be outstanding, and it is a tour de force in elegance and red fruits to burn. My feeling it is just a little angular, picked a few days too early.
