Kaesler Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 750ml, Barossa Valley

$28.00 $30.00

The 2007 Kaesler Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the few wines Kaesler produce which does not contain any Shiraz. Although this wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon, it contains 5% Petit Verdot, and is produced from vines grown at Kaesler's Home Block in Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley. This vintage is a well balanced effort, scored 90 points, and should continue to age nicely until 2018.

Expert Reviews

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 90 pts - The 2007 Cabernet contains 5% Petit Verdot and was aged for 16 months in new and used French oak. Deep cherry red in color, it delivers a nose of smoke, violets, spice box, black currant, and blackberry. Nicely balanced and savory, this relatively forward Cabernet will evolve for 1-2 years and drink well from 2011 to 2019. - Dec 2009
