Expert Reviews

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 92 pts - The 2006 Cabernet contains 5% Petit Verdot and was aged for 16 months in a mix of new and used French oak. A glass-coating purple color, it has an expressive perfume of toasty oak, pencil lead, black currant, and blackberry. Layered, dense, and ripe, it has enough stuffing to blossom for another 3-4 years. This lengthy effort should be at its best from 2011 to 2021. - Feb 2009

James Halliday's Wine Companion - 92 pts - A rich, voluptuous medium- to full-bodied wine saying more about the region and the high quality vintage than the variety, but the French oak is well-handled. Date tasted 05 Sep 2007, drink by 2015
